About Michael Gurtler
Michael Gurtler is a senior staff member who has been working with YMCAs and Camps for over 25 years. He began his career in Resident Camping and held a variety of YMCA program and administrative positions before becoming a CEO in 1994. After a successful term as CEO, Mike joined the national YMCA staff as a safety and risk management consultant. Before leaving YUSA in April of 2007, Mike held the position of Director of Risk Management Services.
