There is good reason to report all losses timely

The faster Philadelphia Insurance Companies receives your new notice of loss, the quicker we can assist in managing the necessary claim recovery services, to expedite the claim settlement process. Prompt notification on your part, which triggers a prompt response from us, works to reduce the expenses associated with most auto, property, and third party liability claims.

A delay of just a few days, for instance, can increase costs by as much as 50 percent over a loss reported shortly after it occurs. A prompt report of loss can result in a reduction of downtime for damaged automobiles, office equipment, or other essential property. Also, injured and non-injured claimants may receive the timely instruction and attention they require, to reduce the emotional and/or financial impact of an unfortunate accident.

When your loss is reported, we immediately assign a file number for your future referencing needs. If notification is not verbally reported, you will be contacted within 24 hours to confirm receipt of, file number, and the name of your servicing representative. You will be contacted within one business day by your claims servicing representative.

Online Claim Notification Disclaimer

Submitting your loss notification online does not verify the loss is covered under your Philadelphia Insurance Companies' policy. Our claim team will review your policy and coverages to determine whether or not you have the coverage necessary to process your notification.

The claims department is the policyholder (post-loss) loss management division of the company. We have made it our business to train and employ a multi-disciplined staff of professionals who perform specialized claim administration functions for each of the company's commercial property and casualty niche industries.

Our experienced staff of loss management professionals are assigned to Individual, Niche Industry, Dedicated Claim Units. Each of these Units receive supervisory direction and Niche Industry News/Legislation/Product Development updates from the Unit Director. Staff within the dedicated Claim Units meet regularly to communicate findings of change within their assigned specialty.

Beyond our responsibility to manage claims in accordance with applicable State Laws and Statutes, we will endeavor to promptly resolve claims and aggressively resist those without merit. We hope to create a more positive loss experience for our policyholders when the unfortunate and often untimely event of a loss occurs, to ensure our reputation of quality.
