Bala Cynwyd, PA, April 15, 2025 - Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY), a leading commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance company for niche markets, announces the promotion of Katie Jones from Vice President to Senior Vice President of Compliance.

Ms. Jones joined PHLY in September 2024 as a Vice President of Compliance. In this role, she managed the regulatory side of the Compliance Department, which includes the Product Support, State Filings, and Product Development teams. In her new Senior Vice President role, she will lead PHLY's entire Compliance team of nearly 50 employees.

Early in her career, Ms. Jones worked in private law firms where she defended commercial and personal lines insurance carriers. In 2002, she joined Allstate Insurance Company as an in-house trial attorney and quickly advanced to senior trial attorney in 2007 after gaining insight on the inner workings of a national insurance carrier. Her excellence in trial skills earned her the award for the top trial attorney nationally in 2003, 2004, and 2008. Her focus shifted from trial work to corporate compliance with a promotion to regional counsel in 2014, where she supported a regional executive team, lobbied for legislative change, and held external board positions on behalf of the company. She continued taking on increasing responsibility in Allstate's legal team before becoming director and senior managing counsel overseeing a corporate compliance team in 2021.
