Gillingham & Associates offers expanded insurance coverage for classes of business that used to be hard for outdoor recreation businesses to insure. We are pleased to offer coverage for the additional exposures and operations:

  • Outdoor Tour Operations:

    • Snowmobile tours and/or rentals
    • ATV tours and/or rentals
    • Whitewater rafting (Class III, IV, V)
    • Bicycle tours (mountain)
    • Guided and unguided paddle sport operations
    • Jeep tours (GL only)

  • Equine Related Activities / Exposures:

    • Instructional facilities- No Dressage
    • Riding stables
    • Pony rides
    • Wagon, hay, sleigh and carriage rides

  • Water Related Activities / Exposures:

    • Waterslides
    • Personal watercraft (jet skis, sea doos, wave runners, etc.)
    • Waterskiing, surfing, snorkeling

  • Climbing Related Activities / Exposures:

    • Rock Climbing (up to 150’)
    • Climbing walls
    • Ropes and challenge courses (team building)

  • Equipment rental exposures:

    • Jet skis, sea doos, wave runners
    • Bikes
    • Cross country skis
    • Surfing and snorkeling

  • Campground Related Activities / Exposures:

    • On premise unsupervised trails (horse, ATV, snowmobile)
    • On-site activities (paintball, go-kart track, waterslides, etc.)

  • Special Events / Activities:

    • Fishing tournaments
    • Shooting events (trap shoots, dove hunts, turkey shoots)
    • Cattle drives
    • Corn mazes
    • Agri-tourism

  • Other Activities / Exposures:

    • Youth camps
    • Caving activities
    • Amusement devices (as part of an eligible package account)
    • Land leased to others for recreational use - Hunt Clubs
