Jean Day Program Community Outreach Contributions

In 2002, Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) implemented a Jean Day program whereby employees are able to wear jeans to work for making a $1 donation to a specific charity. In addition, PHLY contributes $1,000 per organization. Funds raised each month are donated to an organization chosen by employees. The program has been extremely successful with over 75% participation.

Here is a list of some of the charities that PHLY employees have selected over the last few years to be recipients of our Jean Day program:

  • American Red Cross
  • Feeding America
  • Homes for Our Troops
  • I Have A Dream Foundation
  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  • Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
  • Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
  • Prostate Cancer Foundation
  • Roswell Park Alliance Foundation
  • The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
  • The Nature Conservancy
  • The National FOP
  • United Services Organizations

TEAMPHLY Supports the Challenged Athletes Foundation

TEAMPHLY and the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) are natural partners in the mission to help athletes achieve their dreams and goals. CAF supports people with physical disabilities so they can stay active and competitive through athletics. PHLY helped raise over $85,000 for CAF in 2011.
